Rarely do our representatives in power come across as being so...HOT! But in repeated polls of the hottest MP in the House Of Commons, the winner time and time again is not MP Helena "Miss Oktoberfest" Guergis, never former MP Belinda "Frau heißer" Stronach, not even Calgary West MP Rob "Herr Limbaugh" Anders. No, the reigning champion of Alberto-Brazilian hotness is the proud MP of the subject of our fifteenth installment of the CCC's 28-part series, Better Know A- Lberta!

Today's feature is the riding of Edmonton-Spruce Grove: the fightin' Picea thicket!

The riding is most famous for being home to the West Edmonton Mall, North America's largest shopping mall, and the world's biggest from 1981-2004. The WEM is Alberta's biggest tourist attraction, bringing over 60,000 people per day to the 48-block wide property, with over 100 restaurants and 600+ stores. So wait: there's three different Orange Juliuses, but no Pottery Barn to get my Shayna Picket Accent Table? That's The Craziest F#?king Thing I've Ever Heard!

The WEM is so freaking huge, it gets two entries! Besides the shopping, the WEM also houses a: concert hall, movie theatre, hockey rink, mini golf course, night club, hotel, petting zoo, and the world's largest indoor amusement and water parks! This place even has a freaking chapel AND shooting range on the same property! Finally, a place where the love between Sweetness and I can not only be acknowledged, but a place where we can consummate afterwards!

And finally, Spruce Grove is home to perhaps the most exciting feature the city has to offer: the Edmonton Corn Maze! Every summer, this 15-acre attraction opens to a hysterical public, offering tours of the "maize maze," often cut into the shapes of local sports icons, including Eskimos QB Ricky Ray, Oilers LW Ryan Smyth, and my current favourite, from 2002...an oil derrick! But methinks the ECM can do better this year...so I ask, where's my corn maze?
