I keep seeing these ads for WestJet Airlines, telling me that the customer service is so great because all their employees are also part-owners of the company. Well, I've just submitted my application, and I will be sure to institute my new "stewardess clothing optional" policy as soon as they send the uniforms! I look forward to my new hostile takeover position with WestJet, proudly located in the subject of our twelfth installment of the CCC's 28-part series, Better Know A- Lberta!

Today's feature is the riding of Calgary-Northeast: the fightin' Nor'easters!

The riding is home to Calgary International Airport: now, you know I take issue with Alberta airports. The only flights the Nation can take to my studios is through Newark...yecch! But now the city is talking about removing the Airport Trail East Side Access Tunnel, forcing traffic to detour on to Deerfoot Trail! Are you kidding me, Provincial Transport Minister Ouellette? Lift up that Hungarian handlebar of yours and feel the cool breeze of traffic flow, Ouellette!

Calgary-Northeast is also home to the Baitunnur mosque, the largest in North America, which houses nearly 3,000 members of the Alberta Ahmadiyya community. Arabic for "House Of Light," the mosque features a towering 100-foot minaret to look over those practicing the great and true religion of the final prophet Mohammed, Blessings and Peace be upon him...what, were you expecting some sort of joke or wisecrack to follow?

And finally, the riding houses the Calgary Aerospace Museum, showcasing the history of Canadian aviation and space exploration, with historical pieces from both the Air Force and Canada Space Agency. Sure, Canada may have gained global acclaim for installing the Canadarm on the International Space Station...well big whoop, Canada. Get yourself a Combined Operational Load Bearing External Resistance Treadmill named for you on the ISS, then we'll talk!

And which MP has the space nodes to serve both a House Of Light and an Airport Of Darkness? Why, it's none other than Conservative MP Devinder Shory, who has served the riding since 2008. Contact MP Shory here to get the pounds down in the Northeast: it's time to get a C.O.L.B.E.R.T. in every household!
